Singen (Hohentwiel) is an industrial city in the very south of Baden-W├╝rttemberg in southern Germany and just north of the German-Swiss border. It is also situated within close proximity of Lake Constance and is the most important city in the Hegau area. The most famous landmark of Singen is Hohentwiel, a volcanic stub on which there are the ruins of a fortress destroyed by French troops during the Napoleonic Wars. What is the city's connection to Business?

Julius Maggi set up the headquarters for his company in 1897 at this place and it is often called the Maggi Town.
