The original end points were , Chicago, Illinois and Los,Angeles California. The Buckingham Fountain in Chicago now marks the end point in Chicago. John Steinbeck in his book "The Grapes of Wrath" called this the Mother Road. A famous Petroleum company in the US , gets its name from the name of this road. How do we Better know this road?
