HTNI #9: Szpilman would like this

The original Statue was destroyed during WWII. Local Legend has it that , the day after the original statue was destroyed , a handwritten note was found , which read -- "I don’t know who destroyed me, but I know why: so that I won’t play the funeral march for your leader.". The picture shows the replica that was placed at the same location. Who is depicted in this statue?

Arun and Sudhin were the only ones to get this right.


Keith Miller refused to bowl the new ball , as Ikin had been one of the Rats of Tobruk that had helped win the African Campaign during WWII. Since this was Ikin Benefit match, Keith Miller didn't want to bowl Ikin out in the 90s. However Ray Lindwall took the ball and got Ikin out on 99.
